PC Technician

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY: The PC Technician is responsible for keeping the IT equipment up and running for the users.
Loads software on desktop operating systems.
Maintains pc?s, printers and other computer related hardware.
Maintains backup inventory of parts.
Runs data cable.
Answers company IT help desk questions.
Solves PCs application problems, computer problems, printer problems, and phone problems, reported to the Help Line.
Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement.
Arrive punctually and consistently for work for normally scheduled hours. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays are required.
Perform various related duties as required.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
The job duties are not limited to the items as described above; duties can be added or changed at any given time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
